    Very good

The location is great for sightseeing in London, shopping and theatres.

On checking into the hotel I was asked my name. Then I was asked when I booked, recently or not, my answer was pre-paid several months ago. I was then asked did I have the correct hotel. I said yes and that I had received an e-mail from the hotel only that week to confirm. I was then told there was no room booked in my name.I Didn't have my reservation number to hand but I have rarely had that to hand before. The staff at reception could offer no help and basically that was that. I asked if I could use their internet to get the reservation number from my e-mails which I had to do. When I give them my number which he found on the system within seconds tha excuse was my name was under m for mr? The receptionist then went into a folder and produced an a4 sheet of paper with all my details on which I was required to confirm. My questions being why didn't he look for the hard copy at first when he couldn't find my name on the system and what would have happened if I couldn't find my reservation number? No room I guess!

    Fabulous

the room was a good size, the bathroom also was large with separate shower cubicle, breakfast good variety andservice.overall was enjoyable stay and compared well to other Hilton hotels we have stayed in. was disappointed that could not use upper Rockwell bar as there was a private function and had to use restuarant downstairs for evening drink. main advantage of this hotel is the unbeatable location right on trafalgar square.

We had a delux room the room was on two levels but you could not see out of the windows, also the rooms are really bland and have no character if im honest it was like staying in a Travel Lodge where everything is white. I would not stay in this hotel again unfortunately.

    Superb

The hotel is very well located to the places we wished to visit. The staff were welcoming. We found the informal style of this hotel fitted with our needs. Breakfast and its presentation were excellent, even during a very busy period.

Internet connection was expensive and clumsy. At this level of hotel wireless connection should be provided as part of the service as it was at every other place we stayed during our 5 weeks in the UK.

    Fabulous

Loved the location, though outside it was noisy, never heard it in our room, we even missed the riots, only saw those on television! (riots are not daily! lol). The room was very comfortable.

Our room was not ready on time, then nobody remembered we were waiting for the key and when we inquired about it, there was no apology, only were handed a key . Also couldn't stand the fact that we (in our 60's) were constantly addressed with : "hey you guys" .

    Fabulous

Service and breakfast- facilities especially roof terrace and views available from roof terrace-location was excellent

The room was small and the window could not be opened

    Superb

So close to all the sights, theatres and restaurants. Despite the central location hotel was very quiet. Excellent breakfast and we made good use of gym.

Could you offer a service to people travelling in to see a matinee show at the theatre where they could drop their bags in when they arrive in London. We arrived in London at 12 but then had to carry our overnight bag around London and take it into the theatre because your check in was 3pm. I did e mail the enquiries at the hotel but never got an answer about whether we coul leave our bag earlier. That is the only small drawback we had.

The hotel is ideally placed adjacent to the buzzing Trafalgar Square, with the staff very helpful and courteous. If you are visiting museums, exhibitions and shows, it is a good place to stay.

Great location, friendly & helpful staff. Decent breakfast, silly prices for drinks in room fridge.

Dark rooms, no natural light, silly prices for room fridge drinks and snacks.

    Good

    Location

The attitude of the entrance staff to the room top bar. Rude and elitist. The room heat. Extremely dry. The hotel is never a 4 star so the misconception of quality and associated price.

    Superb

The breakfast on Sunday took over 10 minutes just to find us a seat and table.

This hotel markets itself on its view of Trafalgar Square, however beware, , unless you pay top rates, they will put you in a room at the back with views of concrete walls. This is exactly what happened to us and when I complained and reminded them that my booking was made subject to having views of the square, they would only move us to a front room on the basis of charging an extra £50. scam!! Even after we was moved, the view of Trafalgar Square was not good due to the concrete parapets/balustrades immediately outside the window and the fact that the hotel isnt even located directly on Trafalgar Square in the first place!

location is great for theatreland and national gallery. Within a short walk you have Buckingham palace; Westminster;and Whitehall. Most of the places on our to do list could be reached by walking or short bus trips At breakfast we liked that you ordered toast rather than make your own. We had a double plus bedroom which was a good size for a london hotel room. Check in was completed quickly and efficiently - as was check out. Each member of staff that we dealt with gave great service.

Although we were at the back of the hotel you could hear occasional noise that you might expect to hear in a city, but you are in the centre of London. We did feel that low lights in the room corridor were a tad too low. The rooftop bar is highlighted as a facility but to my disappointment it was not open?

    Very good

The staff were very welcoming. Concierge recommended an excellent restaurant to eat in and the bar staff made off-menu cocktails. The rooms were well maintained and in excellent condition.

The noise in the night and morning was appalling. We were kept awake on Floor 4 throughout the early hours with people shutting doors loudly, knocking on the doors to wake people up and talking. Then we were woken at 6am onwards by a rather loud family in the room next to us. Children playing, women talking loudly and general noise. This was very disappointing.
